 | A native of Austria, Walt dropped out of art school to pursue a professional road racing career in his teens. He later worked in France as a shunter in a train yard and as a toolmaker in Germany, Austria and Italy. A job with a German steel company took him to Moscow, where he later joined the Austrian Foreign Service. Walt has been riding and building Harley choppers, bobbers, and race bikes in the old school style in New York City for the last twenty years. He recently moved his shop and his family to an old mill town in Southern New Hampshire. He still road races V-Twins.
